City of Westby Summer baseball and softball programs will run from late May through the last week of July. Girls softball games will be scheduled in the Ridge and Valley league on Tuesdays and Thursdays while boys baseball games will be Mondays and Wednesdays. Softball teams are offered for athletes from ages 7-14. The purpose of this program is to provide an introduction to the sport of baseball or softball while remaining accessible for all youth of our area. We try to keep registration prices affordable and we offer bussing to out-of-town games. This league is not intended to be "competitive", but rather for building teamwork and friendships while learning to love the game of baseball[softball]. Rules are adjusted per age-level to be developmental appropriate and safe, while learning, effort, teamwork, sportsmanship and fun will be emphasized.
